Panel discussion on IRS Tax Issues, questions submitted in advance for panelists, and possibly at the meeting, time permitting. Transcript of the session will be emailed to subscribers of the EBAEA News mailing list & CSEA mailing list. The advance questions for this meeting are only starting to come in.
This IRS Panel meeting is regularly held at the March EBAEA meeting and is always very informative and educational. Last year, the questions included: 1) Covid; 2) S-Corp Medical Premiums; 3) Assisted Living Medical Deductions; 4) Closing; 5) Economic Impact Payments 6) Unemployment Update; 7) Defaulted 401k loan, followed by Covid loan; 8) HSA Issue; 9) Partnership Tax Capital reporting; 10) EIC and superseded return; 11) PPP Loans & Forgiveness; 12) 750K limit mortgage refinance.
Learning Objectives
1. Review submitted questions from members on IRS Tax issues.
2. Learn best practices as explained by the excellent and very knowledgeable Ms. Brosi. Ms. Kreider, Mr. Calderaro and the experienced Alan Pinck
3. Learn where other practitioners are having issues.
4. How and when to contact IRS Practitioner Unit / Taxpayer Advocate.
