Description
Oddities with the Armed Forces. Service Members often move multiple times throughout their career. We will review general tax nuances that affect Service Members Tax Returns. From understanding how these changes evolved over time to what is current now. We will review what happens when Service Members move with their family to a new state. Learn what to keep track of and watch out for in the new state. We will discuss the nuances of home sales and options available to Service Members who qualify. Lastly, we will review additional extension options available for Service Members to file their returns.

1) Provide an overview of SCRA, MSSRA, VBTA & VAEIS.
2) Understand filing status when Service Members and their families move.
3) Discuss home sales calculations for deployed Service Members
4) Review additional extension options for Service Members to file their returns.
