Description
This program is designed to walk an individual through the following international tax topics:
1. New Proposed Regulations for Crypto – Hot Topic.
2. CARF – On November 10, 2023, the US formally committed to implement the OECD Crypto Asset Reporting Framework.
3. 1446(a) and 1446(f) new reporting requirements.
4. Taiwan – the US will enact “tax treaty like provisions” (since we wouldn’t be able to sign an actual tax treaty with China) and Taiwan committed to do the same.
5. Chile – new Tax treaty.
6. Hungary – cancellation of tax treaty effective Jan 1, 2024.
7. FBAR filing and procedures.
8. GILTI.
9. 5471 & 5472 filings and procedures.
